Our family has always believed in fair prices. Our long-standing tradition has been to provide the finest facilities and service at a reasonable cost. We know the importance of helping each family plan the funeral they want within their own budget. Having the very best doesn't have to cost the most.

Funeral costs can vary widely, depending on the types of services and merchandise selected. Price information is always available and we will be happy to discuss costs with you. "The General Price List" is a pricing format that all funeral homes must follow by Federal Regulation. It provides you with a list of all of our professional services, facilities, equipment and automotive equipment that we offer and their individual prices. The General Price List also includes a basic list of merchandise costs. Also included are some basic packages of the most common service types which people choose. Merchandise items such as caskets and burial vaults may be viewed in the "Funeral Products" section of this site.

Purath-Strand Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. is a small business. In order to provide those we serve with the finest facility and services in Racine we are dependant upon the fees we charge. We do not set our prices artificially high so we can offer false discounts. Everyone is offered the same services for the same price. Nevertheless, it is our policy to provide services to any family regardless of means. We will provide discounted or pro bono services on an individual at need basis.
